Ronnie Wilson has lived in Maine for the last 27 years. Ronnie obtained her degree in painting from Maine College of Art, and taught figure drawing and anatomy there. Collage and found-object sculpture are other mediums she has utilized, always coming back to painting as a primal source of inspiration and delight. The sensual nature of painting is the foundation of her love of oil paint, palette knife and canvas. Ronnie co-owns Sirens Studio/Gallery at 19 Pleasant Street in Portland, Maine, a working studio and gallery combined, and lives with her dog Maya. Ronnie walks daily by the ocean responding over and over again to the horizon line as the anchor to each day.
